Jon Marcantoni brings to the Redress team fifteen years of experience in community engagement, as a writer advocating for Puerto Rican independence and an artist. Specifically, Jon has worked with Boricuas Unidos en la Diáspora and the Puerto Rican Independence Party in the Diaspora.

Jon’s digital media engagement and community outreach through the arts, most recently with Flamboyán Theatre, has sought to make a center for Colorado’s Puerto Rican community to celebrate their culture and tell stories that challenge the colonial narratives impressed upon the Puerto Rican people. He is new to housing justice advocacy and is extremely passionate about addressing the injustices caused by discriminatory housing policy, and about bringing more communities in Denver to Redress’s mission.
