DONATE TO THE MOVEMENT
Over 50 years ago, the Fair Housing Act of 1968 was passed to end housing discrimination and segregation. But today, the impact of redlining, racially restrictive covenants, and displacement still shapes our neighborhoods—determining who has access to stable, affordable housing and who is pushed out.
At The Redress Movement, we are working to finish the work fair housing laws left undone by organizing with directly impacted communities, exposing the policies and practices that uphold segregation, and fighting for solutions that create safe, inclusive, and thriving neighborhoods for all.
Your Donation Supports:
🏠 Local Organizing – We work directly with residents who have been impacted by segregation’s legacy, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to fight for fair housing in their communities.
📢 Community Education & Mobilization – We provide resources, host trainings, and empower residents to challenge policies that continue to exclude and displace communities of color.
🛡️ Advancing Policy & Advocacy Efforts – We push for protections that prevent displacement, ensure housing affordability, and challenge bad actors who profit from segregation’s enduring harm.
Help Us Raise $2,500 To Bring in New Leaders

Your support makes this possible. By making a donation, you’re directly investing in the fight to repair the harms of housing discrimination and build a future where all communities can thrive.

We are committed to the process of engaging people directly. True systems change requires deep and thoughtful engagement and mobilizing of ordinary people. As a result, we have already begun working to train our community-based organizers to build multi-racial Redress Movement organizing committees in several cities (Denver, Milwaukee, and Charlotte) and expect to expand to 20 cities by the end of 2025.
We believe that there is a great opportunity to broaden the kind of support we provide to focus on connection across these communities, networking, and peer learning. Our website will be the hub of this kind of connection and there we will make use of the most sophisticated digital organizing techniques and campaigns to bring communities together around their mutual interests in redressing segregation.
